governor, let me start with you.

now that the polls are tightening, not just in swing states, but across the country, what's governor romney's biggest challenge at this point?

>> well, first of all, i think that the president has had problems over the last four years.

the economy is not producing the way it should produce.

i think it's critical for governor romney to lay out a specific agenda for how he's going to fix things and get this economy moving.

you have to judge a president for his record, and the reality is, it's a record of failure.

the president ran four year ago as an agent of change.

he said he was going to change washington, and he said he was going to change the economy.

he's done neither.

you know, there are other folks who are saying that it's not just the president's record, but it's the lack of a specific agenda that is raising the eyebrows of some voters.

we need to make sure we have tax policies that work for us.

we need to make sure we have regulations that work for us.

we need to make sure we have laws that work for us.

we need to make sure we have an energy policy that works for us.

>> i want you to know that as president i will pursue a comprehensive energy policy that develops every source of american energy, and brings that energy here to america.

>> we think we're in a good position in ohio.

>> it certainly is not where it needs to be.

>> we are very close in ohio.
