calls end

In one case I was asked if I had to wait in line to use the bathroom.

My impression of the calls I answered was that the people calling were generally looking for an easy free handout.

Any time I was asked how much I made, I was immediately put on the defensive.

My response was, “What does that have to do with anything?

” I was then asked something along the lines of “if you don't pay taxes, how are you able to have an apartment?

” I'd say “I just said that.

I pay rent!” (In fact, they were probably just looking for a way to insult me.

).

These people are parasites, not potential customers. They do not want to buy your product. They want a handout.

Collecting information from people who are not potential customers is a waste of time.

If someone is really interested in learning more about your product, they'll call you back. This caller wanted to get information without paying for it.

I had a number of people tell me they were the CEO of an international corporation. They were not. They were looking for a handout.

I had one person swear to God that they'd buy my product if I gave them a free trial for 1 month. Then I'd be able to collect their credit card information. Then they'd be a paying customer. That was a lie. They were looking for a handout.

I was told many times that they'd get back to me with a decision. No one did. They were looking for a handout.

The people who said “I could use your product, but I can't afford it right now” were probably the most honest people. They wanted to buy the product. They were looking for a handout.

I had a few people tell me that they'd love to buy my product, but they're not in the market for what I have. These people were looking for a handout.

I had one person tell me they used to buy my product, but they don't have time to use it anymore. I was told that they would like to buy it again if I lowered my price. These people were looking for a handout.

The people who were genuinely interested in learning about the product were very polite. They asked questions and listened to the answers. If I asked them to repeat a question, they asked me to repeat my answer. They were sincere.

From my perspective, the people who were genuinely interested in buying the product were also very polite. If I asked them to repeat a question because I hadn't heard it, they did so without being insulted. They would remain interested in the product indefinitely.
